are many different opinions and beliefs in the world
about truth. So we have to ask ourselves, what is
truth? Does it really exist? Where is the proof of
truth?
The
wisest man who ever lived said:
“Have I not written to you excellent things of
counsels and knowledge, that I may make you know the
certainty of the words of truth, that you may answer
words of truth to those who send to you?”
Proverbs 22:20-21.
The
essence of truth is found in counsels (experience) and
knowledge. We must always seek to know more, to learn
more, and to abide by what we have learned to be truth,
while being open and receptive to more truth.
ProofDirectory is committed to the truth, God’s
truth found in His word, the Bible. We aim to provide a
valid reference for what the Bible has to objectively
say about various controversial topics, ranging from
Bible prophecy to Christian doctrines and beliefs. This
aim has rendered us to be an independent and
non-denominational ministry; our loyalty is to the word.
Studying the literature of authors in different
denominations is profitable and encouraged by us only if
one can impartially discern whether these writings agree
or contradict with what the Bible shares. If and when an
author presents information that contradicts what is
already clear in the word of God, caution should be
taken and these writings should be avoided, for there is
no truth in anything that contradicts the word of God.
